NEW YORK – Phil Ross, one of New York’s most famous martial arts and survival teacher, has published a new book.
After spending a lifetime training and competing, he has used his experience to create the self-defense guide “Survival Strong” for anyone seeking to take responsibility for his or her own health and safety.
Ross competes nationally in submission fighting, kickboxing, full contact karate, taekwondo and Olympic-style wrestling. He also holds several titles in bodybuilding and powerlifting, and worked as a bouncer and bodyguard for more than two decades while mastering his physical conflict resolution skills.
All of this experience informed the essential techniques shared within “Survival Strong.”
Ross is the owner of American Eagle Mixed Martial Arts and has trained UFC fighters, military special operations personnel, athletes, and more. His expertise is based on real-world encounters and can be mastered even on a tight budget.
