BATON ROUGE, La. – This weekend, people in the Gulf South can learn survival skills, and try products before they buy them at National Preppers and Survival Expo in Baton Rouge starting March 4.

Held at the Lamar Dixon Expo Center in Gonzales a suburb of Baton Rouge, Ray McCreary, the event director, believes as many as 7,000 preppers will attend the expo.
Attendees can try and buy tactical and outdoors gear, essential oils, heirloom seeds, homesteading equipment, emergency food and medical supplies, and more.
The expo also features dozens of speakers discussing, and demonstrating, topics, such as survival medicine, essential oils, disaster preparedness, bush craft, emergency clothing, self-defense, and emergency food preparation and storage.
The Expo runs Saturday, March 4 and Sunday, March 5, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
