London was attacked again. This time the weapons were a car and knives.
By now, everyone paying attention knows that these are the new weapons of choice for many terrorists.
And as most American families begin to travel for vacation this summer, those heading to popular tourist spots must wonder how will they stay safe if terrorists decide to attack.
Stockholm, Nice, London, Ohio State University, the list is getting too long for people to assume an attack will only happen “somewhere else.”
Until the authorities figure out a way to stop radical Islamic terrorists from killing innocent people, the experts of the Survival Industry geared up to provide important advice to keep you and your family safe.
Here is our collection of advice for readers. Simply click on the blog photos or headlines below.
We’ll start with the usCrow The Elite Prepper Website for Survival and its primary author Administrator Ryan.
One of the more interesting sites, it claims to offer members encrypted communications options as well as a plethora of useful resources for all things survival. Ryan’s bio says he has a bachelor of science in emergency administration and management from the University of Kentucky. In his blog, he recently delved into the terrorists’ methodology, then offers a few quick pointers on dealing with terrorists who are indeed attacking near you.
We have not investigated, nor can we vouch for much of what this site claims to offer, but the reasoning behind the advice is sound enough to take note.
A fan favorite, Smart Prepper Gear, offers some more general basics like situational awareness that are critical to everyone’s preparedness list.
Another fan favorite, Commander Zero explains in his Notes from the Bunker blog that a knife-wielding murderer can be as dangerous as a gun-wielding murderer. Never pay attention to the argument that “if he only had a knife instead of a gun, we would be safer.” Zero aptly explains why knives are just as dangerous and how to deal with them.
Here, we address the newest terrorist weapon – cars and trucks. Greg Ellifritz is the president and primary instructor at Active Response Training.
Another trainer, Gabe Suarez, often highlighted in gun-focused magazines like Recoil, has some tough talk and advice for people concerned about terrorists attacking with guns and knives. In addition to more tactics regarding vehicles, he has sound advice that corroborates Ellifritz’s comments above. Be sure to click on the knife attack post too.
Of course, as more survival experts and enthusiasts present more ideas for staying prepared and safe for today’s world, we will share.
Until then, stay aware. Stay safe. Stay Prepared.
