Paratus Business News is the first and only trade magazine dedicated to covering the business of survival. PBN is a digital media publication reporting news and objective analysis to professionals serving all aspects of the survival industry and to consumers looking for critical information about the businesses and personalities within the industry.
We also serve as the sole source for companies, manufacturers and service providers looking to find distribution channels for their products. By serving the advertising and marketing needs of companies and service providers that want to influence and do business with a professional audience and decision makers, PBN offers a unique option to reach all sectors of the industry in one location.
What exactly is the Survival Industry? Just as we believe Paratus – Latin for “prepared” – applies to more than just preppers or survivalists. We also believe the Survival Industry may be the most appropriate catchall term for individual proprietors and companies that make a living, or a hobby, of serving those that are actively engaged in prepping, do-it-yourself (DIY) living, sustainable living, homesteading, bushcraft, tactical, and everything associated with those lifestyles and activities. We recognize that living closer to nature as a lifestyle is not the same as preparing to survive the apocalypse, but the activities often mirror each other, and the end result (of a disaster in whatever natural or unnatural form) would be the same: survival.
